Ascending moonlight

This piece was really lose and creative. I played with tons of paint and scraped it back off, I gouged marks in the paper with sticks and I used collage for the background with newspaper and book pages. I enjoy the image and juxtaposition of the chess pieces with the moonlit hills. Although It is surreal and unnatural I find the picture very calming and mysterious like a dream world.
